Careers in Accounting and Information Systems
On average, 75% percent of ACIS graduates are employed within six months of graduation while only 8% were still seeking employment. Another 17% are enrolled in graduate school. The Department of Accounting and Information Systems conducted more on-campus interviews for its majors than any other department at Virginia Tech.
Employment opportunities for graduates of the Master's of Accounting and Information Systems program are excellent. At various times throughout the year, more than 50 companies, including all of the larger accounting and consulting firms, come to the Virginia Tech campus to recruit accounting and information systems students.
